About Leann Benedetti

Human Being | Veterinarian | Professional Coach

I am…A Human Being. A Daughter, A Wife, and A Mother to 2 engaging young men, and cherish the many other beautiful limbs of my Family Tree. I am also a neighbour, and Community Member. As well as a Friend, that has many amazing members of my Soul Family. You are my Foundation.

I am…A Veterinarian. Thrilled to be part of what I still consider to be one of the most noble professions on Earth. For almost 25 years I have dedicated myself to caring deeply for my patients, my clients, my team, and my business. Serving them all to the best of my ability. I treasure these relationships, and my role in contributing to supporting the Human Animal Bond they represent- My Original ‘Why’-that still rings true today.

I am…An Entrepreneur and Founder of Georgian Bay Veterinary Hospital & Mobile Services, and now The Veterinary Coach. Which also means I have some experience as a Book-keeper, Human Resources Director, Business Consultant, Data Entry Statistician, Computer Technologist, Teacher, Psychologist, Ethics Professor, Police Officer, Banker & Credit Officer…and the list goes on. I wouldn’t trade a minute of it. These are my ‘How’-How I bring to life my passion and share it with the world.

I am…A Professional, Certified Coach. An Adler Graduate Coaching Faculty Trained Professional Coach (ATPC), certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) Certified Coach (ACC). It was important to me to learn from a Leading Accredited Facility, and belong to a Profession who has a Federation with Ethical Guidelines and Standards of Practice. These both bring what I believe to be required credibility to my Learning and my practice as a Coach. These Certifications come with over 100 hours of both In Class Learning and Practical Coaching Experience. I continue to work to advance my level of certification, as I always have in my Veterinary Practice. I use the Tilt 365TM Strengths Model in my Coaching Practice and am a Master Tilt Practitioner (having completed all three levels of certification in that program).

I am…a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. I have learned in my life and career as a healer that there is more than Science and the Tangible at play. I have come to understand the overall importance and impact of Energy to us all. I am a believer of ‘Wholistic Healing’ which means that both the Western Medical Way of Diagnostics and Pharmaceuticals and the Power of Energy from us as healers, and our plants, crystals and animals play a role in keeping us well. In my opinion, it is the successful Full Circle of Care, connecting Mind, Body and Spirit that allows us to thrive in this world.

I am…A Believer in ‘Wholehearted Living’:

"Wholehearted Living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness.  It means cultivating the courage, compassion and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It's going to bed at night and thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vunerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn't change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging."

-Brene Brown

I bring all of the Above together to truly Embody ’The Veterinary Coach’. As A Veterinarian and Certified Coach I want to do everything that I can to help support the well-being of my chosen profession…my peeps-Veterinarians, in fact all of the humans of Veterinary Medicine. I also believe that we in Veterinary Medicine share many of the same issues with other Health Care Professionals (‘western’, ‘eastern’, ‘alternative’ and so many more). We are certainly all beautiful human beings, sharing so many of the same struggles and celebrating the same successes. We all need support at some point-Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually.

My passion is Coaching Veterinarians for Wholeness-we cannot do what we love and take care of others if we are not healthy and well ourselves.
Balance, Grow, Thrive with Me!
