Speaking & Facilitating
Confident | Vulnerable | Compassionate | Open | Fair | Organized | Knowledgeable | Intuitive |Fun
These are the character traits that I believe are important when speaking to a group, or facilitating a program or a workshop. These are also character traits that I feel are among my strengths. I’ll be honest and say that if I struggle with one – it is probably Fun! AND … I’m working on that!
I would be happy to speak to you, your group, your association, or your practice on any of the topics that I touch on within this website. I am comfortable bringing shared, practical experience to the discussion on veterinary practice life, struggles and successes around work – life balance, compassion fatigue, burnout and how we can be stronger and more resilient in the veterinary profession.
These are difficult conversations to have. I know. I also know that if we don’t talk about them, we cannot grow and get past them on our journey to happiness and fulfilment. You cannot see what is in the darkness, until you shine some light into the space. While what you see may be scary, daunting and challenging. Creating awareness of the issues is the first step towards facilitating discussion around creating a bright future.
I’m here, and I’m Listening – The question is ‘How Can I Help?”
